Quite different from most harsh noise albums, Jason Crumer's Ottoman Black is a shot but intense album that is more soundscapes than just bland noise. From suspenseful silence to loud anger, every track on this album has its own quirk that keeps the album varied and interesting. It's quite easy to see why this album has been so well accepted in the underground noise community.
